Ahhhhhhhh, The Serenity...

Boats allow you to visit places unreachable by others. You can escape the hustle and bustle of the local beaches and head out in the river to find your own secluded sandbar. It’s just you, the sand, the water and the sun. A perfect place to meditate and gain your balance in this busy modern world.
Well, that’s what one poor bloke must’ve been thinking when he settled in the middle of a sandbar, just out the front of Deer Park in the Hacking River. Unfortunately, he didn’t account for us…. Well, just our dog, really.
We pulled up to the sandbar, Bella, a French Bulldog, barking and shaking with excitement. She jumps off the bow, ready to tear around and stretch her little legs.

Bella loves the sandbar. A place to run amok and roam freely. A good 50m by 50m platform to spread you wings and run wild, no limitations, pure freedom.

So! It was, much to our surprise, with all the space on offer, that she siddled up to the man sitting cross-legged, seeking serenity. She hunched in her back legs and squeezed, leaving a lovely little, chocolate coloured gift curled right next to him.
So much for Serenity!
